This site will document my adventures in virtually investing $10,000,000. A yahoo finance account was started on Jan 25th using the closing prices to virtually purchace nearly $10,000,000 in various shares. As you can see in the title this is a Canadian site so for the most part the prices will be in Canadian dollars. But right now Canadian Dollars roughly equal American ones so just ignore the differences for now.
Your writer comes from a technology background with a keen interest in world economics from the point of view of growing his business into world classed business.
Funny, even though this entire site will mostly be about publicly traded companies this owner would not easily consider ever going public. Too much hassle having as many bosses as you have shareholders.
How is your $10,000,000 investment doing?
[ed] 16,000,000 due to apple and gold options. Dumped much of apple before Jobs died which was dumb.
Killed on many others such as Ford.
Pretty good return 60% over 4yr (15% to 16% per year) considering most portfolios tanked during the financial crash.
